First held in 1978, the longest running Audax event in the UK is a classic event in the 'Old School' style. This year is the 40th anniversary of the event. Expect a field of 100+ riders. Expect challenging climbs. Expect technical descents. Expect a warm welcome at controls, with good cyclists food. Expect superb coastal and rural scenery. Study the route beforehand, and note that parts are flat , but also note the hills that you will conquer. The route avoids main roads where possible, which means paying attention to navigation. There is ample parking near the start, and hot food at the end.

Dorset Coastlet 100 kms / 62.5 miles

The ride attracts well over 100 cyclists, and takes you through some fantastic coastal and rural scenery, visiting Lulworth Cove, Weymouth, Abbotsbury and Dorchester, including two cafes providing cyclists fare. This year is the 40th anniversary of the event. The ride is challenging, with several major hills; don't worry, there are some flat sections too! Although challenging, the ride is achievable and studying the route beforehand will help. There is ample parking near the start, and hot food at the end.
