Dorset Coast 207 kms / 125 miles

Sunday April 9th April 2017 - 07:45

First held in 1978, the longest running Audax event in the UK is a classic event in the 'Old School' style. This year is the 40th anniversary of the event. Expect a field of 100+ riders. Expect challenging climbs. Expect technical descents. Expect a warm welcome at controls, with good cyclists food. Expect superb coastal and rural scenery. Study the route beforehand, and note that parts are flat , but also note the hills that you will conquer. The route avoids main roads where possible, which means paying attention to navigation. There is ample parking near the start, and hot food at the end. More information about this classic event.
